For some reason, this news totally slipper under our radar.
The surprising news is that Musiq Soulchild has launched a Rap alter ego by the name of The Husel. He has also done a couple of interviews explaining the move where he reveals that he made the switch because rap-singing is “in” right now and he didn’t want to use the old brand (Musiq Soulchild) because of legal issues.
The Husel also says that we can expect a lot of auto-tune in his music. That’s not all — he has already put out a new mixtape introducing his new music which you can stream or download below.
This personally doesn’t sound like a good idea, especially because the music is sounding very generic. What do our readers think?
