We have some sad news coming in at this time of the hour. Blues legend B.B. King has passed away at the age of 89 in Las Vegas, his daughter Patty King has confirmed to media channels.
The “king of the blues” was suffering from diabetes since the age of 60 but was touring even to this day. The legend has countless Grammy awards, inspired musicians from around the world, sold million of records worldwide and even won the Grammy Lifetime Achievement Award, Rock and Roll Hall of Fame induction and the Presidential Medal of Freedom.
A couple of weeks ago, he took a break from touring after suffering from dehydration and was resting at home.
Rest in peace.
