This is a dream come true for those who have heard the debut Fort Minor album The Rising Tied released in 2005 (one of my personal favorite Rap albums of all time).
Fort Minor was is Linkin Park member Mike Shinoda’s Rap side project who released their debut album 10 years ago to critical acclaim, even notching up a top 5 Billboard single ‘Where’d You Go’ featuring Holly Brook (now known as Skylar Grey). The album also featured collaborations with other A-listers like Common, Black Thought, Lupe Fiasco and John Legend. None other than Jay Z served as the co-executive producer.
Now a decade after their debut, the group is set to make a comeback. They have been teasing hints to their return on social media for a few weeks now but yesterday, they posted a picture titled “hello” for the first time on Instagram.
This development comes along with the update that Fort Minor is set to perform on Conan next week on June 22nd. It is not confirmed whether they will debut a new single or just perform a old track but we are definitely expecting it to be the former.
