When you think about “one hit wonders”, you will be doing injustice if you don’t mention Mims. The New York rapper shot to fame in 2007 with his single ‘This Is Why I’m Hot’ which peaked at #1 on the Billboard Hot 100, a rare feat by a solo rap song.
He released two albums, Music Is My Savior in 2007 and Guilt two years later in ’09 but failed to earn the respect from fans for some reason. He’s now prepping his comeback and starts off the movement with a freestyle over Meek Mill’s ‘Monster‘ which is actually quite good. Stream it below.
