Robin Thicke has been through a lot past two years or so. After splitting from his wife Paula Patton, he released his “apology” album Paula in July, 2014 which debuted in the top 10 on Billboard 200 but was a failure in comparison to his previous effort Blurred Lines which spawned the global chart topping title single.
He’s now prepping the release of his 8th studio album which is expected to drop later this year. The lead single, ‘Morning Sun’ is set to impact Urban AC radio July 7th and we have a preview of it for our readers. It’s pretty clear that he isn’t chasing Pop success with this one.
