Gucci Mane is currently incarcerated at the United States Penitentiary in Terre Haute, Ind. resulting from a possession of a firearm charge.
Reports earlier pointed that the rapper will be released from prison in March, 2017 but it appears as the date has been now pushed up. A search of the Federal Bureau of Prisons’ records shows that Gucci Mane, born Radric Davis, has a new release date of September 20th, 2016.
Gucci (or rather, his team) has released tons of mixtapes while being behind bars and fans have been eagerly waiting for his return back to music in real form. He’s also set to release a feature film the moment he’s out.
