UPDATE: Rhymefest brings more clarity to his tweet in an interview with Hip Hollywood. He says he just wants Kanye to be happy.
Rhymefest has worked with Kanye West very closely since almost the beginning of the superstar’s career. He has writing credits on some of ‘Ye’s most critically acclaimed songs like ‘Jesus Walks’, ‘Glory’, ‘Power’ and even ‘New Slaves’ which appeared on the last album Yeezus.
But it seems like the G.O.O.D. Music affiliate isn’t very happy with Kanye’s recent antics and behavior. In response to a fan on Twitter, Rhymefest said that his brother “needs help” in the form spiritual and mental counseling. He added that he should step away from the public and yes men and focus on trying to “heal”.
It will be interesting to see if Kanye reacts publicly to Rhymefest’s comments.
