UPDATE 2: A large portion of the album has been updated again. Chance The Rapper has a new line on ‘Ultralight Beam’, there are new background vocals on a few songs and production has even been altered a little bit. I think we can expect this to happen multiple times over the course of the year.
UPDATE:
Below you can stream ‘Ultralight Prayer’ which we suppose should have originally gone somewhere on ‘Ultralight Beam’.
Previous story:
Kanye West had revealed on his Twitter last week that he was working on the final mixes for The Life of Pablo which will be out soon and it looks like they have finally been implemented. Or at least parts of it.
Although some fans are reporting subtle changes on a few different songs, the most noticeable of them all comes on the album standout ‘Famous’.
The line “she be Puerto Rican day wavin'” near the start of the second verse has now been changed to “she in school to be a real estate agent” on the new version which you can hear right now on Tidal or in the video clips comparing old and new versions below. The “Bam Bam” part also now has some sort of distortion in the beginning where it kicks off.
Interestingly, these changes to the album come exactly a month after its initial release on February 14th. To fans’ disappointment, ‘Wolves’ remains the same as the previous version but who knows, maybe ‘Ye is planning to fix that as well sometime in the near future or will he skip and go straight to making the other two albums this year?
