Chris Rock had the world talking with his opening monologue at the 2016 Academy Awards this past weekend where he addressed the lack of diversity in Hollywood with jokes. While many applauded him for keeping it light, others thought he was disrespectful and insensitive to an important issue.
Rick Ross is one of the folks who wasn’t feeling it. He made a stop at 93.9 Fam in the Morning in Washington D.C. a day after the Oscars and shared his thoughts on Chris and his monologue: “Chris Rock, he a cornball. Let’s keep it real.”
Chris Rock and Rozay have past uncomfortable history. At the 2014 BET Awards which Chris hosted, he mocked Rozay with the following joke: “Dre has Beats, Rick Ross has DiaBEATS.”
