Kevin Gates has been a breakthrough success this year with his debut album Islah selling in excess of 100k copies in the first week which surprised many.
Last year, the rapper joined forces with DJ Holiday for his Murder For Hire mixtape which was appreciated by his core fan base. The Louisiana native took to Social Media to inform fans that “they” are not allowing him to release another new studio album before February, 2017 so he’s taking it in his own hands and putting out new material in the form of sequel to Murder For Hire.
