Chance The Rapper is playing a show in L.A. on Saturday so before that, he made a stop at the Power 106 studios to chat with The Cruz Show hosts.
He discussed various topics like success as an independent artist, spending time with daughter and rest of the family, fear as a father, working with Kanye West, his top 3 albums of all time and more.
Around the 17 minute mark, he begins to talk about his relationship with Kanye and the status of the long rumored Good A*s Job album. Chance says there isn’t much progress on it but the topic does come up in conversation every now and then. He reveals they have about two songs done and also expresses his excitement for the upcoming Kanye West-Drake joint project.
At the 26 minute mark, the Chicago rapper speaks on recently attending the New York stop of the Saint Pablo tour and complains about the high level of sound. “Literally, my stomach felt like I had internal bleeding because of how much it was shaking and how loud it was,” said Chance. “So, if you see this, I’m just gonna text you so you don’t see this and get mad later, but turn that shit down just, just, like, four dBs or something. I don’t know,” added Kanye’s close friend.
