The much awaiting opening of Prince’s Paisely Park museum opens for public tomorrow, October 6 but before that, a few outlets were able to have a preview of what to expect.
The Paisley Park complex in Chanhassen, Minnesota is where Prince resided, recorded his music and performed intimate shows, among other things. The massive facility remains mostly untouched since the superstar’s April 21st death.
In the video below where Today’s Al Roker tours the complex, we get a peep inside “Studio A” where Prince’s handwritten notes still rest on the console as he left them, the “Purple Rain” room where the iconic motorcycle from the movie, script and Best Original Song Score Academy Award are on display, the “NPG Music Club” room and the artistic hallways.
In a separate interview with Entertainment Tonight, Prince’s sister Tyka Nelson revealed that fans will be soon able to hear unreleased music from Prince’s vaults: “We’re going to pull it up and we’re going to remix it and we’re going to get it out.”
