The Game’s new album 1992 is in stores now and getting a mixed reaction from fans. But one thing you can’t deny is — he can still rap solid.
The album doesn’t feature any listed guest appearances, except some supporting vocals from Jason Derulo on ‘Baby You‘ and Jeremih on the bonus track ‘All Eyez‘ which has entered the top 10 of Rhythmic radio charts this week.
According to HDD, 1992 is on course to sell 24-27k copies in the first week (21-24k pure sales). The album leaked on to the internet more than a week in advance of its October 14th release date so that did not help its prospects but it will sell more than what Meek predicted.
After Game dropped his diss song towards Meek, ‘92 Bars‘, Meek had gone on Instagram and clowned the Compton rapper by saying he won’t sell more than 15k copies of his new album.
The other Rap album of this week, Gucci Mane’s Woptober is projected to move 17-20k copies but those are pure streaming numbers as the album has not been put on sale.
