Lil Wayne struck the wrong cord with audience yesterday with his insensitive comments on the Black Lives Matter movement. When asked by the reporter on the ABC Nightline show about his thoughts on the BLM movement, Weezy said that he doesn’t care about it since he’s young, black and rich.
He went on to say “my life matters, especially to my b*tches” which threw a lot of fans off. But now, the Young Money boss has apologized for his comments in a statement through TMZ. He says that a question by the reporter about his daughter being called a “b*tch” and a “h*e” got him angry and he couldn’t interpret the following questions properly.
“When the reporter began asking me questions about my daughter being labeled a b*tch and a h*e, I got agitated. From there, there was no thought put into her questions and my responses. Apologies to anyone who was offended.”
Do you accept his apology?
