The 43rd annual People’s Choice Awards took place on January 18 at the Microsoft Theater in Los Angeles, California where a bevy of your favorite stars were honored with trophies based on voting from fans.
There were plenty of music categories as well, including one for Favorite Hip-Hop Artist, the award for which went to G-Eazy. He beat out several of his competitors — DJ Khaled, Kanye West, Kendrick Lamar and Wiz Khalifa. The Bay Area rapper later took to Twitter to thank his fans.
Love and respect to the fans yall are the reason we're here in the first place and get to do the shit we do, forever grateful

If you’re wondering about Drake, he was instead nominated in the Favorite R&B Artist category, which he lost to his ex Rihanna. You can find the full list of winners here.
