Big Sean has been doing a lot of promo for his new album I Decided (read our review here). In fact, we haven’t seen an artist of his stature do such a big press run in a long time.
Sean recently did an extensive interview at Power 106 L.A. in presence of select fans where he spoke on concept of his album, writing songs for his mom, relationship with his father, getting a Roc-A-Fella chain from Jay Z, his Sean Anderson organization and more.
The Detroit rapper also announced that the physical edition of the album will hit stores February 17th and mentioned that he went for a digital only initial release in order to avoid any premature leaks.
Sean also talked about starting his own label (19 minute mark) and revealed that he’s actively looking to sign new artists. He already plans to sign producers like Amaire Johnson and Key Wane to his label. Watch the full interview below.
UPDATE: Power 106 has passed over an email to us that Big Sean has shared with them. This is where you can send him your music: [email protected].
