Brother Ali has been missing in action for a while but he’s back now with announcement of his new album All The Beauty in This Whole Life. It will be his first album in five years, the follow up to 2012’s Mourning in America and Dreaming in Color and hit stores May 5th via Rhymesayers Entertainment.
The 15 song album is produced entirely by Atmosphere’s Anthony “Ant” Davis who is also behind the first single ‘Own Light (What Hearts Are For)’. You can stream the incredible sounding, reflective song below. “Each of my albums are the result of the pain, growth and eventual healing that I experience. Articulating the pain and navigating the healing allows the people who really feel my music to travel with me. It’s not only that we hurt together, we heal together as well,” says Ali in a statement.
“In times of great suffering in the outside world, the most important battles start from within,” continues the talented rapper. Continue below for the official album cover and track list.
