Kanye West played a new version of The-Dream’s ‘Bed’ during his Yeezy Season 5 fashion show almost two weeks ago and many wondered about the choice.
Ye has now decided to upload the 17 minute track to his Soundcloud which is basically an extended version of J. Holiday’s hit ‘Bed’ that The-Dream co-wrote back in 2007. It appeared on Holiday’s album Back of My Lac and peaked at Number Five on Billboard Hot 100. This version is a little different from the original as it’s mainly simple strings.
Kanye on the other hand can hardly be heard on the song. You might have noticed that Ye has used the opportunity of his Yeezy line fashion shows to debut new music on previous occasions as well. Back in 2015, he debuted an early version of ‘Fade’ which later appeared on The Life Of Pablo. Hear The-Dream’s ‘Bed’ below.
