Yesterday, Logic announced that he will release his new album titled Everybody on May 5th. The announcement came as a surprise because one, there was no notice and two, fans thought Logic’s third album was called AfricAryaN. It had revealed that name last October.
Now in an interview with Hard Knock TV, Logic explains the reason behind switching of the title. “As I was recording the album, it started to become more about everybody than just about me,” explains the rapper who is of mixed race. He says he has addressed a lot about racism and how everybody puts him in a box, on this particular album.
Logic also talks about the sound of his third album and why he is inspired by some of the great artists in Rap like Nas, Jay Z, Kendrick Lamar, J. Cole and others.
