Tinashe has been working on her sophomore album Joyride for a while now but unsuccessful singles have been a major concern towards launching it on time. She has tried a few things already and although they all have been solid, none of the songs have really impacted the charts.
After dropping a mixtape titled Nightride last November to hold fans over till the release of the album, Tinashe is back with a brand new single, ‘Flame’. The song is very Tinashe in delivery of vocals but the sound is bigger than just R&B. Produced by hit makers Stargate and BloodPop, ‘Flame’ is a strong relationship based song with a catchy hook and grand production.
Tinashe had teased the song earlier this week with a couple of video teasers on her Instagram so hopefully a music video is on the way as well. Until then, stream the song below via Apple Music or YouTube.
