Ed Sheeran’s new album Divide released last week and is set to debut at number 1 on the Billboard 200 chart. He’s still promoting it heavy as he stops by The Breakfast Club this morning.
Ed Sheeran is known to be a humble person and he proved it once again during this interview. The superstar talked about living a normal life, being very close to his childhood friends, why he took a break for a year from music, writing songs about his grandparents, originally writing ‘Shape of You’ for Rihanna, being a Nicki Minaj and Beyonce fan, hanging out with Jay Z, and much more.
Ed took shots after shots of different types of alcohol drinks with the hosts during the entire interview. Around the 22 minute mark, he even rapped Nicki’s ‘Monster’ verse on the mic and later in the interview, took out his guitar to showcase his rap talent.
