We didn’t get anything new from Kendrick Lamar today as we were hoping but at least there’s something to see from his TDE label mate Ab-Soul.
Here is an unreleased music video for his song ‘INvocation’ which appeared on Soulo’s last album Do What Thou Wilt late last year. It is helmed by talent artist RUFFMERCY who did the incredible drawings on the visuals. According to him, he worked on this particular project for three weeks before the director disappeared and left it hanging. RUFFMERCY did not even get paid for the work by the director or the label. Sometimes everything doesn’t go according to plan and the music video business kicks you in the ass.

I spent 3 weeks working on this video as well as adding a few effects and i consider it some of my best drawing to date.
At the end after some small changes the Director disappeared on me. I’m guessing they or the label weren’t that into after all. So much so they decided to not pay me for it.
So 3 weeks full time on this with no release & no money to show for it. Sucks Right.
