Kendrick Lamar’s latest album DAMN. featured some solid production and just like his previous efforts, this one too, had mostly in house producers doing duties. Now imagine hearing K.Dot performing over DJ Premier beats.
It did happen. While replying to a fan on Twitter, the legendary producer revealed that he did work on some songs with K.Dot for the album but they did not make the cut. DAMN!
I'm sure one day it'll happen…We worked on a couple joints but they didn't make the album…that's family so it's all good

Back in 2015, there were several songs and concepts which ended up not making it to his sophomore LP Pimp A Butterfly that were later released in 2016 on is side project, untitled unmastered. If the TDE rapper decides to take a similar approach again, maybe we will get to hear these Preemo gems. For now, we have to be content with the masterpiece known as DAMN, which is already certified platinum by the RIAA.
