Kendrick Lamar’s critically acclaimed fourth studio album DAMN. has already gone platinum — in less than three weeks.
K.Dot’s major label Interscope made the announcement that it has now shipped in access of 1 million copies and hence, certified platinum by the Recording Industry of America. Kendrick’s incredible new album opened at number 1 on the Billboard 200, moving 603k copies in the first week. It earned the feat of becoming the biggest debut of the year, beating Drake’s More Life.

Congratulations to the rapper and his entire team! Kendrick will be kicking off his DAMN. tour with Travis Scott and D.R.A.M. on July 12th.
