Dave East released his debut major label project Paranoia last Friday. It features guest appearances from French Montana, Jeezy, Nas, Wiz Khalifa, Chris Brown and more. It is expected to sell an underwhelming number of 15-20k in the first week.
He stopped by The Breakfast Club today morning and chatted about his label situation with Def Jam Records and Mass Appeal, the lyrical content on the project, wanting a radio hit with ‘Perfect‘ featuring Chris Brown, maintaining family life, managing money expectations from friends and family, chances of doing a modelling deal, not being into social media too much, managing attention from women, his best friends in the industry, being locked up at 22 years old, and more.
Dave also confirmed that he’s worked with Drake on some music where the Toronto superstar is really rapping. He also denied rumors of a dating relationship with Christina Milian and said that he just likes taking photos with women. Watch the full interview below.
