Drake brought out Tory Lanez at the 2017 edition of OVO Fest and called him a “great guy” but that’s not the only surprise he had for the audience at the Budweiser Stage in Toronto, Ontario.
“I’m about to go back to making this new album Toronto, just for you,” he told the OVO Fest crowd, announcing that he’s back in the studio. Earlier in the night, Drizzy brought out The Weeknd who hit the stage to perform their collaboration ‘Crew Love’ and his mega hit ‘Starboy’. Drake took the opportunity to tease that a possible OVOXO project is in the works. “I want you to understand what this is,” Drake said, pointing to his fellow Canadian superstar. “I don’t want to do this to you on stage, but I feel like that OVOXO project has to happen at some point.” Watch the footage below.

And it looks like Drake wasn’t kidding around with that statement. Minutes ago, Drizzy posted a photo with The Weeknd from the show on his Instagram with a very interesting caption which says “you don’t know…what’s in store…” This is going to be exciting.
