Cardi B has hinted at the release of an album at a couple of shows in the past but she made it all the official at the first night of Made in America fest in Philly.
Cardi ended her set with her groundbreaking hit ‘Bodak Yellow (Money Moves)‘ which recently hit the number 3 spot on Billboard Hot 100 and earned a gold plaque for moving in excess of 500k units. It is also the most streamed song across all services in the U.S. at the moment.

After entertaining the crowd with the song and just before exiting the stage where it was raining almost throughout, Cardi told the audience that she’s releasing her debut album in October. She didn’t specify an exact date. Cardi also took time to meet two of her fans backstage, Beyoncé and Tina Lawson.
