Will Smith finally makes a comeback to the music game with his new single ‘Get Lit’.
The talented rapper-actor debuted the song during a set at Livewire Festival in Blackpool, England in August along with longtime partner DJ Jazzy Jeff. The reactions to the preview of the EDM song were pretty mixed as expected but that doesn’t keep the veteran from releasing the official studio version of the song today.
“We gon’ brighten up the darkness in this world” is what Will had shouted at the stage when he played the song for the first time for the audience. ‘Get Lit’ has some heavy bass drops accompanied by flashy synths and an uptempo electronic beat.
