Looks like 50 Cent is serious about getting back to music finally.
He previously announced during an appearance on Hollywood Access Live back in July that he is planning to drop a new album before the end of 2017 but we’re yet to hear any music till now. A few days ago, we finally got to listen to a good quality version of a new song’s snippet, tentatively titled ‘On Something’ which also serves as the theme song for his new BET show, 50 Central.
While we wait for the full song — which apparently features Gucci Mane, to surface online, 50 has now revealed that a new album before the end of the year is still a possibility. Replying to a fan on his Instagram who asked him the status of the new project, 50 said “Not bad, I got some sh*t.” On the original caption, 50 wrote “I’m back to work people, I mean on the music.”
There’s less than 50 days to go in 2017 so let’s see if 50 sticks to his hints.
