James “Jimmy Henchman” Rosemond has been held guilty of hiring a hitman to kill a friend of 50 Cent. The judgement was delivered by a Manhattan federal jury on Tuesday evening, who convicted the former music manager on four counts of murder-for-hire, each of which carries a life sentence.
50 Cent and James Rosemond a.k.a. Jimmy Henchman have been at odds for more than a decade. He had alleged that some of 50’s affiliates put hands on Rosemond’s 14-year-old son in 2007. Rosemond, who used to run his company Czar Entertainment to manage different celebrities, was accused of killing 50’s friend Lowell “Lodi Mack” Fletcher in 2009. Jimmy was managing The Game at the time who was involved in a heavy beef with 50 Cent and G-Unit.
Jimmy Henchman, who 50 has mad fun of on social media numerous times, was already serving two life sentences connected with separate drug and gun convictions, so a “not guilty” verdict would not have freed him from life in prison, reports NY Post.
Rosemond’s lawyers intend to appeal against the verdict: “There is absolutely no physical evidence in this case that proves Jimmy intended Lowell Fletcher to be killed instead of shot at.”
