It’s unlikely that information about Drake’s album will come from the man himself as he has taken his no interview stance quite seriously.
But Drizzy has been hinting at his live shows that he’s back recording new music. Pi’erre Bourne, the producer best known for producing Playboi Carti’s hit song ‘Magnolia’, seems to be involved with the process. In a new interview with Bilboard, Bourne reveals that he’s working on the Toronto superstar’s upcoming album. He was a supporting act on Drizzy’s recently wrapped up Boy Meets World Tour.
After this, I got a couple other songs I’ll be putting out,” he said. “I’m going to finish working on my project. Getting Carti’s album going, working on Drake’s album, me and 21 Savage got stuff blowing up. I want to branch off and do other things. I want to do other things than music, but I’m just excited for these opportunities. I know it’s going to be a big year.”
Bourne is also working on a solo project titled The Life of Pi’erre 4 which is scheduled to be out in 2018. The producer is looking to release his next single ‘Honeyberry’ soon, the follow up to the latest single ‘Yo Pi’erre’ featring Carti.
