Cassie has been preparing for a comeback to music all this year, dropping a solid single ‘Love a Loser‘ featuring G-Eazy and an accompanying short film. The song has definitely under performed from its potential so the sexy singer is now back with the follow up titled ‘Don’t Play It Safe’.
The new single where Cassie delivers her trademark sultry vocals over a mid tempo instrumental, comes courtesy Bad Boy Records as well. “Don’t wait baby, don’t play it safe, go take the reigns, show me something, yeah,” Cassie invites her lover on the track produced by Canadian DJ and producer KAYTRANADA.
Hopefully this song will do the trick for her and help launch the much delayed new album. ‘Don’t Play It Safe’ is now available in international markets like Australia (it will be out in the U.S. at midnight).
