Fabolous and Jadakiss finally released their joint album Friday On Elm Street last week to a mixed reaction. The duo had announced the project for the first time in March last year but getting the right sound and clearing samples took some time. Loso also revealed on The Breakfast Club this morning that he didn’t want the album to come out in the Summer.
Friday On Elm Street (FOES) managed to move 33k copies in the first week at sale with 18k out of that coming from pure sales. It debuted on #10 on the Billboard 200 chart. It’s Fabolous’ first album to reach top 10 since 2009’s Loso’s Way. His last album The Young OG Project released in 2014 entered at number 12 in its opening week. Kiss’ last album Top 5 Dead or Alive opened at number 4 with 60k sold in the first week.
