Not many artists in this climate are able to sustain longevity but Rihanna has proven time and again she’s definitely here to stay. The singer released her latest album ANTI in January 2016 as an exclusive on TIDAL with distribution by Samsung.
After the initial debut on number 27 on Billboard 200 due to Neilsen/Soundscan not recognizing the Samsung deal, the album jumped to the top spot on the chart the following week after it’s global release, with sales of 166k (124k pure sales). The album is already certified double platinum in the U.S. by the RIAA.
Rihanna's 'ANTI' has now spent 100 weeks on the Billboard 200, becoming her longest charting album.

But this week was historic for Bad Gal RiRi as her album completed a massive run of 100 weeks on the chart since its debut on January 28, 2016. The boom was partly thanks to her chart topping singles ‘Work’ (#1 peak on Hot 100), ‘Needed Me’ (#7 peak on Hot 100), ‘Love on The Brain’ (#5 peak on Hot 100) and ‘Kiss it Better’ (#62 peak on Hot 100). ANTI also received rave reviews from critics upon its release and is regarded as one of her best albums till date.
