SZA got the wave right now. Fresh off 5 GRAMMY nominations around her latest album ctrl, including one for “best new artist”, the singer performed on Saturday Night Live last week and then followed it up with a live performance on The Tonight Show starring Jimmy Fallon on Tuesday night.
‘The Weekend’ serves as the latest single on the radio off ctrl and she’s enlisted Calvin Harris on the official remix to further promote the song. Titled the “Funk Wav” remix, Calvin Harris comes through with his typical modern Funk sound that we heard closely on his last album Funk Wav Bounces Vol. 1. The multi platinum producer had teased the remix on his Snapchat a few weeks ago.
