It’s the season for music festival announcements. Following the big reveal yesterday from Coachella, Governors Ball comes through today with the lineup announcement for their 2018 edition.
Just like Coachella, leading the pack at the 2018 Governors Ball Music Festival at the Randall’s Island Park in NYC will be Eminem, who released his latest album Revival last month to a mixed response. The eighth annual edition of New York City’s very own homegrown fest will take place from June 1st to June 3rd. This will mark Em’s first headline show in NYC since 2010.
Some of the other performers will be Jack White, Travis Scott, Yeah Yeah Yeahs, Halsey, N.E.R.D. (first NYC show since 2010), Khalid, the worldwide debut of Silk City (a new project from Diplo and Mark Ronson), a reunited The Gaslight Anthem performing their breakout album The ‘59 Sound, 2 Chainz, Post Malone, Lil Uzi Vert, 6lack, Vic Mensa, Jay Electronica and many more.
