Kodak Black is in legal troubles again. The Florida rapper was reportedly arrested on Thursday evening while he was doing an Instagram live stream with the fans.
The rapper was booked on seven charges, including child neglect, marijuana possession, and probation violation according to the information available so far. See the two Instagram posts below for more information on the charges. Fans initially thought Kodak was just trolling when they heard some officials raiding the house in the background during the live session but it eventually ended up being a real situation.
Kodak was freed from jail in July 2017 after serving months in prison for violating his house arrest. He has released tons of music since then, including the mixtape, Project Baby 2. He was currently on probation which makes this arrest even more serious. Stay tuned for more information.
UPDATE: It is now confirmed that Kodak was arrested on charges of grand theft of a firearm, possession of marijuana, child neglect, two counts of possession of a weapon by a felon and two counts of probation violation. He’s currently held up in Broward County Main Jail in Fort Lauderdale.
His team has just released a new freestyle video as well:
UPDATE 2: Kodak was arrested after Police discovered an Instagram post where he was using marijuana and waving a handgun in font of a child. His bond has been rejected after the authorities found a loaded Glock in his safe, and a 9mm Beretta.
