Cardi B is set to host at three nightclubs during the upcoming NBA All-Star Weekend in L.A. (Feb. 16-18) and they have decided to call for armed backup following threats from Crips.
Cardi B, who is known to be a supporter of Bloods gang, has managed to cause issues with their rival Crips gang and is now receiving threats over an Instagram caption that many deemed disrespectful to them. On Monday, Cardi posted the photo below with the caption “I hate wearing Flue but this coat was too poppin” which apparently did not go down well with the Crips.

TMZ reported that she has received threats because of the caption and that’s probably the reason the “Bodak Yellow” rapper decided to delete it later and also disable the comments on the post. Cardi’s safety in Los Angeles during the NBA All-Star festivities being threatened has led to the clubs calling for extra security as they don’t want to take any chances with club goers’ safety.
The three clubs, Murano, Penthouse and Ace of Diamonds are tripling their security for the shows and asked off-duty cops to be inside the clubs, reports TMZ. Cardi has reportedly pocketed about $250k for the gigs and canceling at this juncture is not an option.
