Young Scooter has announced a new project today called Trippple Cross which will release on February 23rd. Along with the announcement comes the first single, the title track which features Future and Young Thug on the assist.
The bouncy and catchy song finds Thugger manipulating his voice the way he’s known for. “An example of being triple crossed is if me, you, and another person rob a bank and split a million dollars three ways. If we pull off and switch cars but then we pull over to get gas and I tell you, ‘Go in to pay for the gas,’ and I pull off wit the money, you’ve been triple crossed,” Scooter explained to Billboard. “But there’s a thousand other ways to be triple crossed — it’s not only in the streets. Businesses triple cross each other everyday.”
“It’s important for me to keep working with Thug and Future because they’re behind me a 1,000 percent. I’ve been with Future since we were kids, before rap.” Scooter has also revealed the track list for the project which has Young Thug and Future featured on several tracks.
