Q-Tip was back hosting his Abstract Radio show on Beats 1 (Apple Music) and he dropped a surprise by debuting a never heard before Kendrick Lamar collaboration called ‘What U 2 Want’ for the listeners.
Just before playing the song for the first time, Tip noted that the song isn’t exactly “new” so we are guessing it was recorded a while ago. It’s a typical Q-Tip type beat with plenty of live instruments effects and hardly features any vocals from the Tribe Called Quest musician. K.Dot can be heard doing most of the duties throughout the track. Fans are lucky as the show is currently available on demand here so you can play the song as many times you want. It starts around the 1 hour 42 minute mark.

It isn’t clear if this is a one off song or part of an upcoming Kendrick Lamar or Q-Tip project. Tip also world premed Demi Lovato’s cover of Elton John and Kiki Dee’s ‘Don’t Go Breaking My Heart‘ which comes on later at the 1 hour 58 minute mark.
