A conference called Reform Philly: Bringing Injustice to Light took place earlier today (Tuesday) in Philadelphia which was centered around Meek Mill’s case and live streamed by TIDAL.
The talk of experts, which happened at the UPENN campus in Philadelphia, discussed the injustices and unfair treatment in the current legal system, which Meek Mill’s case and attorneys have been highlighting. Meek Mill was sentenced to 2-4 years in prison in November last year and has since then, been denied bail. In February this year, the rapper’s attorneys filed a petition to seek his release from jail on bond but were again denied.
