Phonte has been working on his sophomore album for ages but it kept getting pushed back for one reason or another. Back in 2016, Phonte announced that he would be dropping No News is Good News in September of that year. That did not happen though.
But earlier today (March 1), the talented singer-rapper made a surprise announcement that he will be dropping the album as soon as tonight. As promised, the album is out now, containing 10 tracks in total and guest appearances from Freddie Gibbs and Eric Roberson. The former Little Brother member is both singing and rapping on this.
No News is Good News serves as the follow up to his 2011 debut album Charity Starts at Home. Stream it below.
