Cardi B is on top of the world right now. Her debut album Invasion of Privacy has landed on top of the Billboard 200 with over 250k moved in the first week. In addition to having the second biggest debut of 2018, the rapper has scored the largest first-week streams aggregate for any debut album yet.
Continuing her promo run across the country, Cardi stopped by Whoo Kid’s show on Shade 45 earlier today (Friday) where she spoke on her work ethic, how the top female rappers don’t sound alike (Nicki, Remy and her don’t sound the same whereas a lot of male artists sound like each other), why female artists are pitted against each other and more.
Elsewhere in the chat, Cardi also made it clear that diss tracks just aren’t her thing. She further elaborates saying that they’re annoying and if she needs to be seen she’s pretty much always available. Cardi also discussed her sex life while being pregnant, Meek Mill’s current legal situation and wanting to do more pop collaborations. Watch the interview below.
