Kanye West Tells Ebro: “I Love Donald Trump”

We all know how Kanye West faced criticism by some of his fans for his support of Donald Trump during the 2016 presidential race when the two met at the Trump Tower in New York City and happily posed for pictures later.

Kanye’s return to Twitter has given us some great news in the form of release dates for upcoming albums from himself, his joint album with Kid Cudi, Teyana Taylor, Nas and Pusha T. But there was much more. His open endorsement of a pro-Trump conservative, Candace Owens, who regularly criticizes Black Lives Matter, has raised some eyebrows.

Candace is a conservative activist turned communications director for Turning Point USA, a non-profit that has gained prominence for spreading right-leaning values. They are also said to be having a close relationship with Trump’s office. She once commented on the Black Lives Matter protesters: “They’re a bunch of whiny toddlers, pretending to be oppressed for attention.”

Hot 97’s asst. program director, Ebro has been critical of Kanye’s approach and views on Twitter. Over the weekend, Ebro had a half an hour chat with Kanye West, he revealed on Ebro In The Morning show today. The radio host talked about some of the conversations he had with ‘Ye where the rapper openly told him that he “loves Donald Trump.”

Ebro also confronted Kanye on the issue that he has not been finishing his thought process on Twitter and leaving it in the open intentionally in order to sell more copies of his upcoming album. Watch Ebro talk about his interaction with ‘Ye above.
