It looks like Teairra Mari is the latest victim of a sex tape leak.
A little while ago today (May 9), a video of the singer performing a sexual act on a man got uploaded on her Instagram page which many thought was a possible hacking episode. The post was deleted soon after but not before some folks recorded it and re-posted it on other social media platforms.

The singer has now taken to Twitter to confirm that her account was compromised. “Recently, my social media was compromised by someone who I felt was deserving of my love and trust,” said Teairra in the statement which you can read in full above. “That person proved to be untrustworthy and posted footage of what in the moment was private and sacred.”
Calling it “revenge porn,’ the Love & Hip-Hop star said that she will be taking legal action since revenge porn is a crime in the state of California. Taking effect Jan. 1, 2014, California’s revenge porn law amended California Penal Code Section 647 to include PC 647(j)(4).
Under PC 647(j)(4), an act of revenge porn is defined as someone who “photographs or records by any means the image of the intimate body part or parts of another identifiable person, under circumstances where the parties agree or understand that the image shall remain private, and the person subsequently distributes the image taken, with the intent to cause serious emotional distress, and the depicted person suffers serious emotional distress.” In more simple terms, it is illegal to post explicit images of someone online without their consent.
