Cardi B has announced that she will not be able to be a part of Bruno Mars’ upcoming 24K Magic World Tour that is kicking off on September 7th in Denver, CO.
The reason is of course because Cardi gave birth to her daughter Kulture Kiari Cephus earlier this month and is still not “mentally and physically” ready to hit the road. “I thought that after giving birth to my daughter that 6 weeks would be enough time for me to recover mentally and physically. I also thought that I’d be able to bring her with me on tour, but I think I underestimated this whole mommy thing.” she said via statement on social media.

Bruno reciprocated and left a supportive message for Cardi on the situation. “Most important thing is you and your family’s health,” he wrote. “I know the fans will understand. You are absolutely doing the right thing. I also know we’ll share the stage when the time is right. We love you Cardi and we will play ‘Bodak Yellow’ every night in your honor. Please give your baby girl a hug from me and a hug on behalf of everyone on The 24K Magic Tour.”
