Janet Jackson is officially back with her brand new single ‘Made For Now’ featuring Daddy Yankee.
The single was officially announced a couple of days ago while the music video was shot sometime last month in New York. The catchy song has a Dancehall vibe and a simple melody which could translate to being a hit for the global icon. The release comes via Janet’s newly announced label and publisher deal with Cinq Music for through her own label, Rhythm Nation Records.
“Janet is a singular talent, a pop culture icon, incredibly innovative and socially conscious, a true music superstar,” says Cinq co-founder and president Barry Daffurn in a statement. “Together, we’ll leverage Cinq’s data-driven toolbox, global presence, and best-in-class capabilities in Latin and Urban music to connect with and grow her worldwide fan base.”
Along with the song, Janet has also released the feel good music video. ‘Made For Now’ is the first single off her yet untitled upcoming album, the first singe 2015’s Unbreakable. Listen/watch it below.
