These past couple of years, there has been a growing trend among artists of not writing the featured artists in front of song titles on the tracklisting to their albums. This is in addition to the fashion of writing the titles in all caps.
Travis Scott’s latest album Astroworld adopted both of the above trends. From the time when the tracklisting was released till now, the song titles did not have any credited featured artists. The main advantage of this was that when fans clicked play on the album, they had no idea what to expect. The Drake feature on ‘Sicko Mode’ for example, was unexpected and added to the overall excitement around the project.
But that has been changed now. From Swae Lee & Big Hawk on ‘Sicko Mode’ and Kid Cudi & Stevie Wonder on ‘Stop Trying To Be God’ to Gunna & NAV on the latest single ‘Yosemite’, Travis’ album mentions all artists featured next to the song titles on iTunes/Apple Music. Check out the screenshot above to find out all the artists who contributed to the GRAMMY nominated album, in case you missed seeing the credits earlier.
