Civil, 32, followed the reveal with a secondary post, remembering her late-friend/former business partner with a photo of the two in front of The Marathon Continues sign inside the now-closed Marathon Store, with a heartfelt caption. Shown below, she writes, “The reality is that you will grieve forever. You will not “get over” the loss of a loved one; you will learn to live with it. You will heal and you will rebuild yourself around the loss you have suffered. You will be whole again but you will never be the same. Nor should you be the same nor would you want to.”
All American is a High School Football drama that follows a promising Football star as he navigates through the two completely different worlds within Los Angeles, California, in hopes of making it to the NFL. Based on the life of the professional Football player Spencer Paysinger.
In related news, Philadelphia Eagles star DeSean Jackson released a short-doc with NFL360, honoring Nipsey Hussle’s memory with untold stories by the “Victory Lap” creator. The special features guest appearances by West Coast Legend Snoop Dogg.
Last month (September), other athletes like LeBron James, Demarcus Cousins and Cleveland Browns’ Christian Kirksey have paid homage to Neighborhood Nip through various wardrobe memorabilia. Since his passing, Nipsey’s streaming numbers have garnered 4,337,426 monthly listeners on Spotify.
A posthumous album is reportedly in the works via All Money In/Atlantic Records.
