On the weekend, a Mercedes Benz commercial aired on German TV that had people running to Twitter, telling others in excitement what they’d seen and heard. In it was a snippet of a new track from The Weeknd called ‘Blinding Lights’ and the implication that it was going to be out on November 29th, this Friday. You can watch that commercial here.
Fans were excited about Chapter VI beginning soon, especially since we’re in fall. Earlier tonight, The Weeknd took to social media to say that “the fall starts tomorrow night” and “tomorrow night we start again”, sending fans into a frenzy.
Now we have more information about what we might be able to expect this week. As well as the artwork for ‘Blinding Lights’, fans have also found the artwork for another single called ‘Heartless’, which might be what comes out tomorrow. Both of the artworks are aesthetically similar to each other and to what Abel posted on social media about tomorrow.
This week is going to be fun.
